Jimeoin goes The Full Brazilian for the FIFA World Cup

May 27, 2014

Beloved comedian and state-appointed football tragic Jimeoin is going The Full Brazilian in SBS’s new daily prime-time entertainment show throughout 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Starting on Friday 13 June at 7.30pm on SBS ONE, it will be an unpredictable, slightly anarchic combination of football and fun, shot in front of a live studio audience.

The Full Brazilian will pluck out the big issues, rip through funny clips, present sketches and take on in-studio challenges. It will feature musical acts, celebrities, sportspeople, and there will also be daily catch-ups with The World Game football gurus Les Murray and Craig Foster live from Brazil.

Jimeoin said: "I’m delighted that SBS has asked me to be a part of their World Cup coverage. I’m disappointed that I have to do it from Australia but considering what happened the last time I was in Brazil… it’s probably a good call."

Jimeoin’s new stand-up comedy DVD Jimeoin What!? will be released 6 August 2014.
